No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Shared Web Hosting
If you host your websites in a shared web hosting account from our firm, you will not have to worry about your data ever getting damaged. We can guarantee that since our cloud hosting platform works with the advanced ZFS file system. The aforementioned is the only file system that works with checksums, or unique digital fingerprints, for each and every file. Any kind of information that you upload will be kept in a RAID i.e. simultaneously on a number of SSD drives. All the file systems synchronize the files between the separate drives with this type of a setup, but there is no real guarantee that a file will not be corrupted. This could happen during the writing process on any drive and after that a bad copy may be copied on the rest of the drives. What makes the difference on our platform is the fact that ZFS examines the checksums of all files on all of the drives live and in the event that a corrupted file is located, it is substituted with a good copy with the correct checksum from another drive. In this way, your info will stay unharmed no matter what, even if a whole drive fails.
No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Semi-dedicated Servers
In case you purchase one of our semi-dedicated server packages, you won't have to worry about silent file corruption since we use ZFS - an advanced file system which keeps track of all files in real time. Every time you upload a file to your hosting account, ZFS will assign a unique digital fingerprint to it - the so-called checksum. The file will be synchronized between several SSD drives for redundancy, so if one drive fails, the other ones will take over. ZFS compares the checksum of all the copies on the different drives and if it detects a corrupted copy, it replaces it with a healthy one from another drive. This is done right away, so there will be no threat for any part of your content at any time. In contrast, other file systems perform checks only after a system failure, but since they don't use anything similar to the checksums that ZFS uses, they will not detect silently corrupted files, so a bad copy could be replicated on the other drives as well and you may lose important information. Since this is not the case with ZFS, we guarantee the integrity of every single file you upload no matter what.
